The Great Joy

In a vast prairie, it appears many flocks of sheep were grazing. The shepherds sat together watching their livestock. A little lamb that was sitting watching them.

"Hey my friend, did you see those shepherds, why they look so sad? I wonder what they think. "Said the little lamb full of curiosity.

"Ah, you are always wants to interfere the affairs of men. We are just sheep, we don’t need to know the problems that faced by the humans.” Replied the skinny sheep.

"Why you said like that my friend, is not the shepherd always watches over us. If they are sad, don’t we care? "

"Well I still do not care and do not want to know."

"O my friends, why are you two fighting?" Ask a fatty sheep that comes close.

"We are not fighting. It's just the little lamb wants to know the affairs of man. " Replied the skinny sheep.

"Ah, I just want to know why our shepherds were looked sad and difficult. Do you know something my friend, fatty sheep; aren’t you understand human language? "

"Oh yes, I've heard the conversation of the shepherds. They are sad because many people despise and think the shepherds are low class people in human society. And their nation also seems are being colonized by other nations. Apparently they lose the joy and peace. "

"Oh I feel sorry for them. Unfortunately I was only a sheep who could not do anything about it. I hope God help them. " Said the little lamb with sadness.

One night there was a very amazing event. The little lamb saw someone that glowing came to the shepherds. The shepherds were terrified, but it turns out the luminous person convey the message. Of course the little lamb does not understand but he saw the shepherds became very astonished and surprised. After that the sky looked a bunch of people who also glowing sang a beautiful song with a very melodious. The little lamb was very impressed; he had never seen such a wonderful thing. After all passed, the shepherds hurried away, the little lamb is very curious. He ran beside the shepherds and follows them. It turned out that the shepherds went to a dirty cage.

"My God why they go to a filthy cage like this?" Complained the little lamb that does not understand. But he saw the shepherds gathered around something. The little lamb infiltrate behind the sidelines of the crowd. Apparently there was a tiny baby laid in a manger, a father and his mother was beside him.

The little baby was sleeping; he is so sweet, looks like there is something very special with the baby. His face radiated peace and joy. Miraculously all the people who were there also felt it; when the shepherds left the little baby, their faces beaming and joyful. They sing and praise God in all the way home. The little lamb was also felt happy. He said "The baby must be very special, although not born in the palace he must be a great king."

Now ASTA KIDS friends, The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth to bring peace and joy for all people. He came to redeem all those who are bound sin. He also provides joy for those who grieve and heavy laden. Therefore, He invited everyone to come to Him. Therefore comes to the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him in earnest. Then He will give peace and eternal joy in our hearts.
